This Cookie Policy explains how Purrtraits uses cookies and similar storage technologies on purrtraits.shop (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.

your browser; for simplicity we refer to all of these as

2. Cookies we use
a) Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually only set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, filling in forms, or adding items to your cart. We rely on legitimate interests for these — your consent is not required.
- Session ID — a random identifier that links your browser to your cart, quiz answers, and generated portraits while you use the Site.
- Authentication tokens — keep you signed in across pages once you create an account.
- Cart state — remembers what you have added to your basket so it survives a refresh.

b) Analytics & advertising cookies

- Our cookie banner. When you first visit the Site we ask whether you consent to advertising and analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for this Site, which will trigger the banner again on your next visit.

4. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so the Site does not currently change behaviour based on the signal. We do honour the cookie-consent choice you make on our banner.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example if we add new tools or change advertising partners. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above.
